About the surgery

RAPID HEALTH - This new booking system is working well with an increase in patients booking appointments online  rather than calling the surgery.

As with any new system we have teething problems and as and when patients inform of us of errors or we notice patients getting appointments with an inappropriate clinician we make changes.

We've noticed a number of patients getting booked in for appointments that need to be booked via the telephone.  

Please see below appointments that you need to call for:

We do not use Rapid Health for:

• Housebound patients
• Patients who require an interpreter at their appointments
• Nurse appointments (such as blood tests, cervical screening, vaccinations and injections)
• Annual reviews with a Clinical Pharmacist or Nurse (Diabetes, Hypertension, Respiratory, Cardiac) 
• Medication reviews with a Clinical Pharmacist
• Post-natal appointments and 6-week baby checks 
• Contraceptive advice and prescriptions
• NHS Health Checks  
• Home visits
