Patient Announcement: Practice Merger Update

Dear Patients,

We are pleased to inform you that Wayside Surgery and Modality East Surrey Medical Practice are formally completing their practice merger.

Both practices have worked collaboratively for several years, and Doctor Williamson has been part of the Modality partnership since October 2025. This next stage represents the final step in bringing both practices together, with the formal merging of our clinical computer systems beginning on Friday 15th May 2026.

Please note: Wayside Surgery will be operating with reduced services from the afternoon of Friday 15th May 2026 , with services expected to resume as normal from 10:00am on Tuesday 19th May 2026.

If you require an urgent on the day appointment during this time, please call 01293 782057. For emergencies, call 999.

Following this transition, our new overall practice group name will be Modality East Surrey Medical Practice.

Important information:

· Patients across both practices will continue to receive ongoing care and support throughout this period.

· The merger will help strengthen and streamline services for all patients.
